“Wow”
Fantastic resort, lovely rooms, and a nice small pool to cool off in the desert heat.
Dinners are candlelit and 5 courses, lovely food, usually soup, a starter, meat, potato and veg followed by a lovely pudding. Prices are very reasonable – 30 rand for a pint of beer (about £2) £8 for a really nice bottle of wine.
They offer tours to the desert dunes at Soussavai as well as quad bike tours. We had hired our car we just drove ourselves.
There is a floodlit watering hole that you can see from the sundowners patio and restaurant. We could also see it from our room. Every night a few Oryx (Gemsbock) visit to drink.
Lovely place to stay.

“Oasis in the desert”
Staff is friendly! 5 course dinner delicious and adequate! There are tours available, like Quad bike and a visit to the dunes and Sesrien Canyon. Special spot for a beautiful sunset. Great swimming pool and pool bar! Internet only works in public spaces, not in the room. The toilet is not exactly separated from the bedroom.

“Stay in a castle in the desert.”
A quaint, almost eccentric property architecturally, located about 20km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and the dunes. Ideally located if you are doing the dawn balloon flight. Excellent food and dining room service; spacious pool area; well-maintained garden area around the pool and spa; large rooms with balconies giving desert views; waterhole which attracts some animals at night.

“Wonderful”
First impressions from outside are a little austere, but once inside it is a haven! We stayed for two nights in October. The staff was excellent and very attentive. We had a fantastic meal in the evening. Our room had a fabulous view.

“Truly amazing!!”
If you want to experience the best service of your life, stay here. The hotel is close enough to the dunes it won’t take you long to get there, but far enough away it’s not very touristy. If the sky rooms are available, sleep under the stars! So romantic!

“unexpected”
Namibia surprised me. Ok, I have heard the stories, but you have to see it for yourself. Le Mirage is what you will not expect. Warm welcome, super service, amazingly friendly staff and an owner with twinkles in his eyes. So proud of this country and it’s people. And he should be.
